Abstract Submission Guidelines
Step 2: Once your profile has been created and you have successfully logged into the submission site, you may select the Submissions tab and proceed to fill in the submissions form.
Language of Abstract
Your abstract must be submitted in English.
Title and Abstract Length
The abstract title is limited to 350 words (or 2,050 characters). Please use Title Case (capital letters to start the principal words) for your abstract title instead of all CAPITAL or all small letters. Please note that abstracts will be truncated at 350 words if they run longer. Data tables count as 50 words against your 350 word total.
Submission Format
Prepare your abstract in MS Word. Do not use presentation software such as PowerPoint.

Presentation Format
Please note that Free papers (oral presentation) will be the only accepted presentation format for Global Forum 2019 abstract submissions.
Abstract Submission and Review Timeline
The deadline for abstract submission is August 30th at 11:59pm EST. The results of the peer review will be announced after September 11, 2019. The submitting author will be notified by email.
Presenting Author Registration
Presenting Authors must register to attend the 11th Global Forum 2019. If the Presenting Author is not registered by the registration deadline of October 6, 2019, the abstract will not be included in the final program.
Author Information
At the beginning of the abstract submission process, you will be asked to enter author information and affiliations. Please make sure that you ENTER THE PRESENTING AUTHOR IN THE FULL LIST OF AUTHORS, as well as in the presenting author field.
Disclosure of potential Conflict of Interest
If an author or immediate family member has had a substantial personal financial relationship relating to the support of the abstract, this relationship must be described. Such relationships include salaries, ownerships, equity positions, stock options, royalties, consulting fees and honoraria for speaking, material support and other financial arrangements. During the abstract submission process you will be asked to disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Editing a Submission
You may edit your abstract after submission up to the submission deadline August 30, 2019.
To edit your abstract, login to the submission site with your email and password. Select the abstract file you wish to edit. Delete the current file and upload the revised version.
After the deadline date, please contact gf@wfh.org to see if we may assist you with minor edits only.
Withdrawing a Submission
You can login to the submission site and withdraw your abstract before the deadline. After the deadline date, you may request abstract withdrawal before peer review via email to gf@wfh.org by September 1, 2019.
All withdrawal requests must be in writing and must confirm that all authors have been notified and agree with the decision to withdraw.
Submission of an abstract acknowledges your consent to the following.
• If accepted, your abstract may be published in the Global Forum program.
• If accepted, your PPT presentation may be posted on the WFH website on-site and post conference.
