  • Innovations and Lessons Learned in CBME (Oral and Poster Presentations)
  • CBME Research (Oral and Poster Presentations)
  • Points of View - Ideas, challenges, controversies and solutions in implementing CBME (Oral only)
  • Workshops


  • Oral Research Presentation: This type of oral presentation (designed for 10 minutes) should report on completed research. Submissions should include: background, research question, methods (population, data collection and analysis methods), results, conclusions.
  • Oral Innovations Presentation: This type of oral presentation (designed for 10 minutes) should report on innovative work in CBME that may be underway but not completed. Submissions should include: background, purpose, interventions, results/applications, future directions. (10 minutes)
  • Poster presentation in CBME Research: Poster presentations present completed research on a display board. Submissions should include: background, research question, methods (population, data collection and analysis methods), results, conclusions.
  • Poster presentation in CBME Innovations: Poster presentations present innovations on a display board. Submissions should include: background, purpose, interventions, results/applications, future directions. (10 minutes)
  • Oral Points of View Presentations: This type of oral presentation (designed for 10 minutes) should report on ideas, challenges, controversies and solutions in implementing CBME. Although less formal than research presentations, these presentations should be supported by literature. Submissions should include: background, questions, discussion/implications, and conclusions.
  • Workshops: This type of presentation (designed for 90 minutes) should be interactive and informative. Submissions should include: learning objectives/purpose, target audience, methods of presentation (activities, tools), results, conclusions.
