Welcome to the Speaker Submission Site for AGD2018 in New Orleans! 


Thank you for your interest in being part of the AGD2018 Education Program.  This year we are accepting submissions for 2 different formats.

Submissions will close on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:59 PM Central Time.


  • Dental Pearls from our Fellows and Masters: These are 10-15 minute case study presentations, followed by 3-5 minutes of Q&A after each presentation. Ideally, presentations will be case studies and/or interesting cases that have been well-documented and have relevant educational benefit to listeners. All disciplines of dentistry will be accepted. There will be a maximum of 9 presentations included in each 3-hour session, and a moderator assigned to introduce all speakers, and facilitate the Q&A portion, keeping all segments to their assigned time.

  • 50-minute Symposium-Style Lectures:  These are 50-minute lectures on clinical topics in any discipline presented in a symposium-style format. Presentations can be on any topic relating to dentistry. Each presentation must be 50 minutes in length (including time for Q&A) and should focus on current issues with immediate relevance and importance to the field of dentistry, including current best practices, emerging technologies and techniques or successful cases and addressing/avoiding failures. All presentations must be educational in nature and not include any product or promotional content. All presentations must include a description and at least 3 learning objectives which attendees can expect to gain after the presentation.


                                                                             




PLEASE NOTE: Speakers must present in an educational, non-commercial, non-self-promotional manner. Absolutely NO commercial sales presentations, demonstrations or product promotions are allowed during presentations or inside any session rooms. All presentations, including any videos, will be pre-loaded onto the presentation laptop being used for this session. Participants should also bring a copy of their presentation on a flash drive to the session as a back-up. AV assistance will be on hand .prior to the start of the course.
