The AGD is now accepting "Dental Pearls from our Fellows and Masters" speaker abstracts until Dec. 6, 2019.

Two submission formats are currently being accepted.

 

Dental Pearls from Fellows and Masters (open only to AGD Fellows and Masters): These are 10–15-minute case study presentations, followed by three to five minutes of Q&A after each presentation. Ideally, presentations will be case studies or case reports that have been well-documented and have relevant educational benefit to listeners. Topics from all disciplines of dentistry will be accepted. There will be a maximum of nine presentations included in each three-hour session, and a moderator will introduce all speakers, facilitate the Q&A portion and keep all segments to their assigned time.

 

Emerging Speakers (open to all): Emerging Speakers do not have to be AGD Fellows or Masters. These 50-minute lectures are presented in a symposium-style format. Presentations can be on clinical topics in any discipline or other unique and interesting topics relevant to the practice of dentistry. Each presentation must be 50 minutes in length (including time for Q&A) and should focus on current issues with immediate relevance and importance to the field of dentistry, including current best practices, emerging technologies and techniques, successful cases, or addressing/avoiding failures. If you have previously presented during any Annual Scientific Meeting as an Emerging Speaker you will not be eligible for AGD2020.

 

Speakers selected to present will be provided complimentary registration to AGD2020. No speaking honorarium or travel/hotel expense assistance or reimbursement is provided for these sessions. You and your presentation will be recorded, archived and highlighted in the AGD Online Learning Center.

 

Those wishing to become an AGD2020 speaker must:

 

1.    Create a profile in the 2020 Abstract Submission System by clicking on “New Users.”
(Those who have submitted in previous years must create a new profile. Data from previous years will not self-populate into the system.)

 

2.    Submit your abstract by clicking “My Submissions” and completing the application, uploading any applicable files.*
(Once you have completed and submitted your abstract, you cannot make any additional changes.)

                                                                                                                                                                    


PLEASE NOTE: Speakers must present in an educational, non-commercial, non-self-promotional manner. As a PACE approved provider, absolutely NO commercial sales presentations, demonstrations or product promotions are allowed during presentations or inside any session rooms.

 
All Dental Pearls from Fellows and Masters presentations, including any videos, will be pre-loaded onto the presentation laptop being used for this session. Presenters should also bring a copy of their presentation on a flash drive to the session as a back-up. AV assistance will be on hand .prior to the start of the course. You and your presentation will be recorded, archived and highlighted in the AGD Online Learning Center.
