First, this dialogue on Hayek and Keynes on economic liberty will not be a rap video! Instead, two renowned scholars will address how the two famous economists thought about economic liberty.
Brad Bateman, longtime professor of economics at Grinnell College and now president of Randolph College, is the co-author of "Keynes: Capitalist Revolutionary" (2011). Bruce Caldwell, author of "Hayek’s Challenge: An Intellectual Biography of F.A. Hayek" (2004), is now literary executor of the Hayek estate and general editor of Hayek’s collected works.
ASU Assistant Professor Scott Scheall will join the two speakers after their lectures to ask several questions before opening the floor to general audience questions.
