Participants will hear about the updates in Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell Therapy, a type of immunotherapy. Drs. Wang and Beitinjaneh will explain how CAR T works and how it is being used to treat non-Hodgkin lymphoma and acute lymphoblastic leukemia as well as discuss the possible side effects and limitations of this treatment option. Participants will also learn about local and national support resources available to them through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
