Autologous Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (auto-HSCT)
This presentation provides an overview of stem cell transplant with a focus on auto-HSCT. Patients will learn about stem cells and their function; how stem cell transplants work and how they can help treat multiple myeloma; types of stem cell transplants; and what to expect before, during, and after an auto-HSCT. Participants will learn about support resources, both locally and nationally through LLS.
