IPWEA (NSW) Professional Development Workshop:  Timber Bridge Inspection & Maintenance


This course has been designed specifically to provide local government road designers, civil construction contractors and asset manamgers with a better knowledge of the inspection and maintenance of timber bridgeworks. this two day course will provide participants with the knowledge and practical experience of how to combine relevant information from the best practice bridge management documents to assis in and conduct the inspection, maintenance and management of timber bridge assets in a local government context.

PRESENTER: MAL MONTGOMERY
Your presenter is Bridge Inspection Services Manager Mal Montgomery from Local Government Engineering Services. After more than 30 years of experience with the RTA working in all things bridges, Malcolm joined Local Government Engineering Services in 2010, who specialises in Non-destructive bridge inspections which involves condition assessment and reporting with recommendations of maintenance action,Calculation of bridge load limits, and Bridge construction surveillance.

TIMES: Please register at the Workshop by 8.15am on Day 1. The program will commence promptly at 8.30am and finishes at 5.00pm on Day 1. Day 2 begins at 8.30am and finishes at 5.00pm. Morning and afternoon teas and lunch provided on both days.

CAR PARKING: Free parking is available at the venue.

ACCOMMODATION: Overnight accommodation is not provided for Delegates. You will need to organize your own accommodation if required.
