2017 Family Medicine Symposium

WELCOME!

A message from the Chairman and Planning Committee

Please join us for this year's exciting Family Medicine Symposium, where you'll have an opportunity to learn practical ways to improve patient care in a highly collegial atmosphere.

The theme for this year's symposium is "Organ Dysfunction:  What's Your Function?"

The agenda is structured around organ systems and how they may falter and fail, and faculty experts will be discussing your management options for complex acute and chronic organ dysfunction in your regular clinics. Learning will be in a highly interactive format, including case challenges, small group discussions, and hands-on workshops. Practical General Family Medicine topics will also be addressed, and resident research will be presented in poster sessions. You'll have a continual opportunity to exchange ideas and ask questions about your own cases, challenges, and experiences.

On Saturday, you'll have an opportunity to meet Maintenance of Certification Part II requirements for Knowledge Self-Assessment (KSA).

We look forward to meeting you in Anaheim!
