Join the AFCEA Washington, DC chapter for a bike ride along the beautiful Potomac River following the Mount Vernon Trail. The ride celebrates Armed Forces Day and raises money towards STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education, which is a common goal of the Armed Forces and AFCEA.
Recruit your family, friends, and colleagues to cruise along the river.
Ride highlights:
- Start times are staggered and will begin at 7:00AM until 10:00AM
- Parking is available in the Columbia Island Marina parking lot and nearby Pentagon North parking
- Stop and go at your own pace
If you are a cyclist or looking for some good exercise on a beautiful spring day, please contribute to this worthy cause and ride the historic route along the Potomac River from Columbia Island Marina (next to the Pentagon) to Mount Vernon (16 miles) and back (32 miles).
