Dr. Mohamed Karbal
Managing Partner, Karbal & Co

Managing Partner of Karbal & Co, international law firm with offices in Dubai, U.A.E and Tripoli, Libya. Dr. Karbal is Licensed to practice law in three jurisdictions, New York, Dubai, U.A.E, and Libya.

He has 15 years of experience in both the private and government health care sectors of the U.A.E. Dr. Karbal was the first General Counsel of the Abu Dhabi Health Authority.

Dr. Nigel Beejay, MD
Consultant Physician, Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist

Dr Nigel Umar Beejay is a Physician Executive and Consultant Physician, Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with in depth knowledge of global health care systems. He is an acknowledged expert in Gastroenterology, Health IT, Quality and Patient Safety and was formerly Chairman of the Health Information Management Committee at SKMC, Abu Dhabi (managed by Cleveland Clinic). He qualified in medicine at Cambridge University and completed postgraduate studies internationally in London and Boston and Toronto. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and Fellow of the American College of Physicians. In addition, Dr Beejay has degrees in Biomedical Informatics from Oregon Health and Sciences University and Hypnosis from University College London and regularly teaches and lectures on health IT, quality and gastroenterology and advanced endoscopy internationally.
