Through the theme of this year’s conference, Designing on Purpose, we hope to achieve a shift in focus to intention, impact and implementation, so that participants can return to their schools and begin to make a change straight away, as a result of the exchange of ideas at the conference.

WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR

… we tried doing this by selecting those proposals that showed cross-functionality , intentional collaboration and that are geared towards production

Here's what kind of sessions you can expect

Hothouse : a learning experience aimed at mastering and advancing skills within your discipline / area of expertise. Session designed to help participants to go in-depth in their specific discipline.

Injection: a learning experience aimed at those who have achieved a mastery level in their own discipline and giving them a taste of a different discipline / area of expertise to help them take the next step.

Portfolio: sharing best practice & what works well within your teaching and learning with a focus on collaboration. Cross functional format ( a portfolio approach).

Campfire: a professional conversation evolving around a topic or question, no technology support, informal and unstructured.

Think Tank: a group brainstorm evolving around a topic or question. Panel discussion, focusing on participation and identifying the next steps.

Speed Innovation: Similar to the notion of speed dating. Exclusive focus on Innovation, brief presentation of 5 min, followed by questions and discussion.
