How will the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art change as a result of its expansion? How will this be reflected in its new visual identity? As SFMOMA closes its building in June 2013 to begin a two-year process of expansion, the museum’s design team will tackle these questions and many others. They’ll embrace the challenges of rethinking and redesigning every aspect of the museum’s visual identity while continuing to engage visitors while the museum’s doors are closed.
 
This presentation will offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the museum’s design department and the ideas that are only just beginning to take shape.
