This one-day conference, chaired by Professor Ann Hodgson from UCL Institute of Education, provides an opportunity to share the initial findings of three separate projects commissioned by The Education and Training Foundation to work together to explore solutions to the challenges identified by Ofsted in respect of 16-19 Study Programmes.
The three projects are:
- Modelling and Operation, run by AELP (Association of Employment and Learning Providers) supported by 157 Group and UCL (University of London) Institute of Education
- Teacher Readiness, run by the University of Portsmouth
- Work Experience Readiness, run by the Adult Learning Improvement Network
The aim of this conference is to develop the capacity of senior leaders across the FE and Skills sector so that they have the skills and confidence required to effectively manage the delivery of individualised Study Programmes.
A new e-guide 'Study Programmes: Modelling and Operation' Guide and Self-Assessment Tool produced by one of the projects will be launched
during the event.
