A major part of the Ofsted inspection framework is now focusing on Leadership, Management and Governance. Are you confident that you would be able to demonstrate to inspectors that your strategic team is setting an appropriate vision and strategic direction for study programme provision?
The Education and Training Foundation have commissioned a suite of one day workshops for leaders and managers designed to support providers from across the FE and skills sector as they seek to improve study programme provision, ensuring that it offers all learners truly personalised programmes that support progression on to Apprenticeships, employment or higher level study.
The workshops focus on the key challenges facing providers offering study programmes, including; staffing and structures, building local partnerships, implementing work experience, teaching, learning & assessment, the Common Inspection Framework, delivering English and maths, implementing the Prevent policy, adoption of new technologies and Careers Education IAG. Further details are available here.
These senior level workshops that are being run nationally in February and March provide an open and positive environment to discuss key points, so that you can confirm where you are already strong, and identify where beneficial changes might be made.
