FT Live, in association with HP, presented our second annual series of high-level, confidential forums, bringing together CIOs and Technology Leaders globally.

The role of the CIO is strategically more important than ever before, with business performance intrinsically linked to IT performance. As corporate operating models continue to evolve with an increasing reliance on technology platforms, it is clear that CIO decisions affect a business at all levels. The ability to integrate channels and move away from potentially cumbersome legacy systems, can allow CIOs to play an active part in enhancing crucial business areas including customer experience, employee engagement and overall efficiency.

The 2013 FT Live-HP series of private forums will enable CIOs to explore in-depth how the priorities of the boardroom have changed in recent years, and to share their experiences of what it takes to become an influential board member and help shape their company’s future.
