Registration Process

Applicants must register to attend in accordance with the criteria set out below.
Registrants will be assesed against the criteria and taking into account representation accross the region.
for those delegates applying for financial assistance, registrants will be advised of successful application for financial support.

Who should attend this meeting?

Indigenous people from Pacific Nations who meet the following criteria should register to participate:

• Indigenous people from the Pacific Nations who are supported by or representing an Indigenous organisation, institution or community

• Indigenous people who have experience, expertise and capacity within the United Nations system advocating Indigenous peoples rights

• Indigenous people, organisations and institutions who are planning on attending future meetings including:
- The Global Preparatory Indigenous Peoples’ Conference on the WCIP2014, Alta, Norway, June 2013
- Proposed Informal Interactive Hearing, New York, June/July 2013
- The World Conference on Indigenous Peoples, New York , September 2014.
