During what became a 2 year sabbatical Dr. Gottlieb realized that he missed the practice of podiatry. He also realized that in order to compete with the skill of the current graduating residents he would need current, modern training. He entered residency training July 1, 2005, becoming the only Board Certifited resident he knows of. Upon completion of the program in 2008 he became it's Director, a position he holds still. He is proud that for one more year he remains an APMA 'Young Member.'
