Our 2nd stop for the HIMSS AsiaPac15 Pre-Conference Roadshow was held in Muntinlupa City, Philippines as the Asian Hospital and Medical Centre on 27 May 2015. Noteworthy is the face that this was the 1st time that HIMSS Asia Pacific held an event in Philippines and this event provided a platform for HIMSS to springboard into the local healthcare IT Community, with over 30+ senior level attendees and speaker from various well-known private and public organization.

Event Highlight - Featuring senior-level speakers from various organizations such as the Department of Health Philippines, National eHealth Technical Working Group, University of Philippines, LIFEDATA Systems, Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital and HIMSS Asia Pacific, the event gave the audience a preview of the HIMSS AsiaPac15 conference with a broad spectrum of presentations ranging from the general overview of Healthcare landscape; muti-sector approach for developing the National Health Information System; the HIMSS EMRAM Model; Strategic Framework in deploying ICT Projects along with the various challenges faced with case studies backing up the presentation.

The programme proved to be a rare opportunity for stakeholders from various organization in multiple part of the country to network to improve engagement for the local healthcare IT community which will in turn promote and advance Healthcare IT for the bettering of patient care - an import mission of HIMSS.
