Join the IIA Florida West Coast chapter for our April seminar, The Auditor’s Toolbox: Audit Smarter, Not Harder with Elizabeth McDowell. The seminar will include two hours of ethics necessary for your CIA and other certifications. Elizabeth is a self-proclaimed Chief Audit Enthusiast who combines fun and learning into an eight-hour day that will have you begging for more!

The IIA Florida West Coast chapter welcomes Elizabeth to Tampa. We hope you will join us for this April seminar – our last of this fiscal year!

Session Overview:

Session Overview: This hands-on training will transform internal auditors into agile, trusted, and collaborative partners who Audits Smarter, Not Harder! Participants will also explore the ethical implications of living with a disability and learn the importance of empathy, communication, and accessibility.

Session outline includes:

•Audit Universe & Risk-Based Audit Plans
•Smarter Risk Assessments
•Agile Audit Artifacts
•Actionable Data Analytics
•Ethics & Disability Inclusion

After this interactive session, participants will be able to:

•Understand the importance and key components of an audit universe and how to design a smarter, more efficient risk assessment process,
•Apply the basics of agile methodology, agile audit, and agile audit artifacts,
•Articulate actionable data analytics for all auditors, and
•Understand the four ethics principles of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and competency, and how they relate to disability inclusion.
