Join the IIA Florida West Coast Chapter in kicking off the new year with its first seminar of the year. The February seminar features analytics guru, Trent Russell. Trent will take us through becoming more comfortable with analytics and performing some practice during the seminar. We hope you will join us for the February seminar. Session Overview:

Audit analytics can be overwhelming and fearful. Some might spend time developing more excuses not to use analytics than trying to learn the basics. In this seminar, Trent Russell will take us through multiple analytics techniques showing how to analyze the data so you can too. Trent will also walk us through not only how to develop analytics, but how to develop an analytics team within your department. Additionally, Trent will provide real-world use cases for using predictive analytics and text-based analytics within the audit function. Tying all these various technologies together, Trent will walk us through ‘The Cadillac’ of audit analytics.

After this session, participants will be able to:

• Deliver up to three completed analytics projects

• List various use cases for various types of AI that internal audit can use

• Identify the best-fit tech for their department
