Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB) sponsors the ABCP issuing conduit Hannover Funding. Hannover Funding is a hybrid ABCP program, with primary focus on securitization transactions structured by the Asset Backed Finance Group of NORD/LB, but with the secondary ability to purchase securitizations in the market.

Hannover Funding has no specific industry focus, but rather a focus on well-structured transactions of high credit quality. As a result, Hannover has not had any residential mortgage exposure since September 2006. Its largest asset classes are auto loans and auto leases, in both cases geographically diversified between the United States and Europe. Other asset classes are primarily domiciled in the US, with approximately 80% of the total portfolio consisting of US assets.
