Emerging Leaders in Assessment Workshop (Individual)
February 25–26, 2019
Aligning learning expectations with the institutional context and developing a common language for
understanding learning outcomes are fundamental to good assessment work. Individuals with new
responsibilities for assessment and those seeking to refresh their assessment skills and knowledge
learn about terminology and processes that are fundamental to assessing student learning in this basic
skills workshop.
Assessing General Education Workshop (Team)
February 27–28, 2019
This
hands-on workshop provides an opportunity for teams of 3–6 faculty and staff members to develop action plans to improve their general education
assessment processes. Attendees learn best practices for assessment of student learning in general education programs and work with teammates to critically review the structure, philosophy and perceptions of their institutions’ existing practices.
