2012 Virtual Career Fair

Introducing Goodwill's Virtual Career Fairs
To supplement traditional local career fairs Goodwill Industries International will launch its inaugural virtual career fair in partnership with Monster. com from May 7 - 11. The virtual career fair will allow employers to refine their recruiting strategies, expand their candidate pools, and reach candidates who may not be able to attend an in-person fair.

To help people gain and maintain valuable employment Goodwill creates a variety of opportunities for the people we serve. Local Goodwill agencies often host career fairs in their communities - some are small, intimate hiring events to introduce employers to new graduates of Goodwill training programs. Some Goodwills host large career fairs that are open to the public. Regardless of size, these events are designed to create maximum access to successful employment outcomes for job seekers and employers alike.

Inaugural Virtual Fair to Occur During Goodwill Industries Week
Since 1951, the first full week of May has been proclaimed Goodwill Industries Week. This year, from May 6 - 12, Goodwill agencies across the United States and Canada will celebrate our mission with a variety of events in their communities and participate in the virtual career fair as well.
