Katherine Ash is Fundraising Manager at Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section). She is a true generalist fundraiser, committed to best practice and continual improvement. Katherine has worked across all areas of fundraising over the last 8 years, as well as taking a stint on the consulting side. She has a passion for getting the most out of small, dedicated teams while improving donor-centricity throughout the organisation she works for.

Bill Maddock has 18 years fundraising experience having worked across Major Gifts, Gifts in Wills and Trusts and Foundations at Brisbane Grammar School, Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, Mater Foundation and QUT. He is now the Grants and Major Gifts Manager at RFDS QLD. Bill has a passion for creating and stewarding philanthropic partnerships that lead to transformational impact for beneficiaries.

Heather Stott is the Planned Giving Coordinator for RFDS QLD. Before she joined the Flying Doctor, Heather was with QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, specialising in Gifts in Wills. Heather was an award-winning journalist for the BBC before moving to Australia six years ago to become a presenter and producer for the ABC. Heather’s fundraising and journalism experience have given her a great insight into relationship building, great storytelling, and matching donor values and vision to philanthropy.
