About the Event: QLD - Corporate Partnerships Masterclass

There is no denying the compelling research that highlights the global shift in the marketing and sponsorship landscapes due to consumers wanting their purchases to contribute to something bigger than themselves. The data shows they are spending with their heart – and their heart lies with the causes they love.

Corporate partnerships are fast becoming a #1 priority for many for-purpose organisations, despite there still being a lack of understanding around how best practice partnerships should be approached and implemented.

The FIA QLD corporate partnerships master class seeks to provide fundraisers with the skills and knowledge to understand how to seek, engage with and be great partners to well-aligned brands.

Part of the day will include an in-depth panel discussion with 3 charities in order to provide a candid, behind-the-scenes look at how great partnerships have been created and maintained, as well as sharing their learnings on the journey to date and future predictions for best practice. There will be many opportunities for group interaction, questions, debriefing and relevant group work to help embed the learnings of the day and guide some practical steps for participants moving forward.

But it’s her BHAG (big hairy audacious goal) that gets her out of bed every morning – the one that brings the For-Profit and For-Purpose sectors together in accountable partnerships that change our world for the better. It doesn’t matter if you are volunteering on a committee in your rural town, or you’re the corporate partnerships manager for a global charity, every single one of you is working for change and better outcomes, and Abby is in your corner and can teach you how to build transformational partnerships that create meaningful and sustainable impact.

The challenge is maintaining that curve; you have to implement consistent business models and strategies. It’s not easy but anyone can achieve good results if they understand what motivates organisations and leaders in the corporate market”.
