About the Event

You are invited to attend Mackenzie Investments' 2019 St. Catharines Due Diligence on Thursday, March 28, 2019!

We know how important it is that you have a chance to gain insights and share your views with those who are managing money on behalf of your clients.

Market volatility, rising interest rates, late-cycle client anxiety, and geopolitical instability; what does that all mean?

We believe that today's portfolio construction approach requires an in-depth understanding of diversification, de-risking and downside protection to mitigate these and other factors.

Come hear how our Portfolio Managers are managing money through these uncertain times, through formal presentations and informal one-on-one and group discussions.

Seating is limited, so we encourage you to register today!

Looking forward to seeing you.

To Advisors re: Ontario Due Diligence Meetings

Mackenzie Investments is continuing to monitor world and Canadian public health agencies for developments relating to the global coronavirus outbreak.

As of March 3, 33 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Canada by the Public Health Agency. While the overall risk of the coronavirus to Canada remains low, we are taking proactive measures across Mackenzie to protect our employees and clients, including when they attend our events.

To ensure the safety of our guests, all employees who have travelled to, or had a layover in mainland China or Hong Kong since January 17, 2020 are being asked to work remotely from home for two weeks as a precaution before returning to the office. If they have any symptoms of coronavirus, medical clearance is required before they return to the office. In addition, all employees who have travelled to or had a layover in Italy, Iran, South Korea, or Japan since February 13, 2020 are being asked to work remotely from home for two weeks as a precaution before returning to work. If you are sick with flu-like symptoms, we respectfully ask you to please not attend our events in the short term.

We are working closely with our Due Diligence venues to ensure we are doing everything we can to create a healthy environment at our events. We are monitoring the situation and introducing risk mitigation measures such as making hand sanitizers available to disinfect any surfaces that guests would touch frequently, including the call buttons in lifts, light switches, door handles, and washroom surfaces.

Protecting yourself and others:

  • Please engage in healthy practices such as washing your hands thoroughly and frequently with an alcohol-based hand rub or soap, maintain your distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing, and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • As well, while it is standard protocol to shake hands in greeting, it is a good idea to suspend this practice at this time
  • We do not recommend any attendees taking flights to get to the Due Diligence venues
  • We kindly ask you to decline your attendance if you have visited any of the impacted cities/countries noted above

Please contact Mackenzie Events if you have any questions or concerns.
